EU imposes CVD on stainless steel wire imports from India

The European Commission (EC) has announced the imposition of a definitive countervailing duty (CVD) on stainless steel wire imports from India. The countervailing duty rates range between zero percent and 3.7 percent.
 
The duty investigation was initiated in August 2012, upon a complaint by the European Steel Association (EUROFER).
 
The products subject to the countervailing duty currently fall within CN codes 7223 00 19 and 7223 00 99.
