Esfahan Steel’s long product output increases by four percent

Iranian steelmaker Esfahan Steel's billet and bloom output in the first four months of the current Iranian year (started March 21) amounted to 830,000 mt, while its long steel product (mainly I-beam, rebar and wire rod) output reached 948,000 mt, increasing respectively by eight percent and four percent year on year, according to the Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO).

Esfahan Steel significantly increased its production capacity in early 2010 by commissioning its third blast furnace with an annual production capacity of 1.4 million mt.
