EEC recommends AD duty on HDG imports from China and Ukraine

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) market defense department has recommended the application of antidumping (AD) duties on hot dip galvanized (HDG) flat steel imports from China and Ukraine. The investigation was launched in June 2018.

Accordingly, the recommended antidumping duty rates for Ukraine stand at 23.90 percent for Metinvest and other companies. For Chinese exporters, the recommended duty rates stand at 12.69 percent for Donge Yike, 14.39 percent for Xinjiang Bayi Iron and Steel, 14.93 percent for Shandong Sino Steel, Gansu Jiu Steel Group, Hongxing Iron and Steel and Dalian Posco, 15.12 percent for Shandong Esdawn Metal Technology Development, 17 percent for Angang Steel Co and others.

The products subject to investigation currently fall under Customs Statistics Position Numbers 7210490001, 7210490009, 7210610000, 7212300000, 7212506100 and 7225920000.

The Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) is the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) which includes Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia and Armenia.
