Echeng Steel’s shipbuilding plate approved by nine classification societies

According to Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Echeng Iron and Steel Co. (Echeng Steel), a subsidiary of major Chinese steel producer Wuhan Iron and Steel (WISCO), the company's shipbuilding plate has now received certification from the classification societies of nine countries including China, UK, France, Germany, Norway, US, Japan, South Korea and Italy.

In the current year, Echeng Steel's shipbuilding plate has received certification from classification societies in the US, Italy, Japan and South Korea, having received approval last year from classification societies in the UK, France, Germany, Norway and China.
