Echeng Steel commissions coke oven No. 4

Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Echeng Iron and Steel Co. (Echeng Steel) has successfully produced the first batch of coke at its coke oven No. 4. Currently, the production capacity of Echeng Steel has reached 2.2 million mt, which could meet the demand of blast furnace. The newly commissioned coke oven indicated that Echeng Steel has constantly optimized the production structure and strengthened its position in the market.

Echeng Steel's coke oven No.4, considered as one of the company's key technical renovation projects, is projected to produce 550,000 mt of coke per year.
