DOC determines US AD orders on rebar should remain in place

Tuesday, 27 November 2012 02:12:30 (GMT+3)   |   San Diego
On Friday, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) announced the final results of its expedited sunset review of the antidumping (AD) orders on steel concrete reinforcing bars from Belarus, China, Indonesia, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, and Ukraine.

As expected, the DOC found that revocation of the orders would be likely to lead to the continuation or recurrence of dumping. The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has decided to conduct a full sunset review of these orders.

A negative injury determination by the ITC will result in the revocation of an AD order regardless of the DOC's determination.
