Dneprospetsstal's crude steel output up one percent in 2014

In 2014, Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) saw a one percent year-on-year increase in its crude steel production to 278,154 mt. The company's output of finished steel in the same period increased by 0.2 percent year on year to 179,365 mt.

In December 2014, the company produced 17,632 mt of crude steel, down 18.2 percent month on month, and 13,113 mt of finished steel, down 11.7 percent month on month.

Dneprospetsstal's activities cover the design, manufacture and distribution of stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing and alloy structural steel products. DSS' products are used in the manufacture of machinery parts, tools for metal and alloy machining, seamless pipes and bearings.
