Hubei Province-based Chinese steelmaker Daye Special Steel Co. has announced that on November 11 it commenced production at its new alloy steel round bar production line, which was built with a total investment of RMB 1.105 billion ($0.16 billion).
The production line in question has a designed annual output of 900,000 mt of 50-130 mm steel round bars.
