CVRD and POSCO settle 2007 pellet price

The Brazilian mining giant Companhia Vale do Rio Doce (CVRD) has concluded the pellet price negotiations for 2007 with South Korean steel giant POSCO. As a result of the negotiations, the blast furnace pellet price has increased by 5.28% relatively to the 2006 reference prices.
