CSP slab accounts for 67 percent of Pecem port’s exports in Jan-July

Brazilian slab producer Companhia Siderurgica do Pecem (CSP) accounted for 67 percent of the total exports out of the Port of Pecem, located in the city of Sao Goncalo do Amarante, in the state of Ceara, during the accumulative period of January to July this year.

CSP is co-owned by Vale, South Korea's Posco and Dongkuk Steel.

According to port operator Ceara Portos, CSP exported 1.4 million mt of slab in the seven-month period.

As previously reported by SteelOrbis, CSP has exported over 2 million mt of slabs since it started operating last year.
