During Companhia Siderurgica Nacional (CSN) SA's quarterly conference call Tuesday, CSN's business directors said that the CSN, along with long steel producer and iron ore miner Gerdau SA and Petroleo Brasileiro SA (Petrobras), an oil and gas producer, are discussing building a new iron ore export port by 2015.

The Porta da Pedra project will be in southeast Brazil in Rio de Janeiro, near CSN's existing iron ore, coal and container ports.
