CSC’s issues output and sales results for November

Taiwan's largest steelmaker China Steel Corporation (CSC) has announced that in November this year its steel production volume dropped 9.77 percent month on month, decreasing to 757,868 metric tons, while the year-on-year increase was 9.37 percent. As SteelOrbis previously reported, in July CSC's monthly production volume had reached its highest level since September 2008 with 851,091 mt.   
     
In November, CSC's sales volume was 834,547 metric tons, decreasing by 10.63 percent as compared to October and up 18.34 percent year on year.
 
In the month in question, the steelmaker's sales revenues amounted to NTD 20.61 billion ($584.59 million), falling marginally month on month and up 30.94 percent year on year, while its income before tax totaled NTD 1.7 billion ($56.44 million).
