Court interdict for Iscor against Numsa strike participants

The South African major steel maker Iscor has obtained a court order to avoid any unlawful protest activity to be performed by the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA). Numsa steel union members have been on a strike, protesting the offers of wage and other payment issues made by Iscor. The strike is on its eleventh day, however the company confirms that the production is still running without obstacles at its Vanderbiljpark, New Castle and Saldanha plants.
