Cliffs recognized for good corporate governance
Cleveland-Cliffs has been recognized as being in the top one percentile of companies with good corporate governance practices. According to a survey conducted by the Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) Cleveland-Cliffs score on the Corporate Guidance Quotient exceeded 99.3% and higher than more than 99% of all materials companies reviews by ISS. Cleveland, Ohio-based Cleveland-Cliffs Inc is the largest producer of iron ore pellets in North America and sells the majority of its pellets to integrated steel companies in the United States and Canada.
