Chinese steelmaker Chongqing Iron & Steel Co. has announced that in the first nine months of the current year its iron-making plant produced 2.950321 million mt of pig iron.
At the beginning of 2011, Chongqing Steel completed the modernization work of its blast furnace No. 3, while also maintaining production at its blast furnaces No.1 and No.2.
