Chinese shipbuilding firms see reduced gross profit in Jan-Nov

In the January-November period last year, 1,459 large and medium-size shipbuilding enterprises in China registered a total operating revenue of RMB 697.57 billion ($101.84 billion), down 1.6 percent year on year, with a gross profit of RMB 14.74 billion ($2.15 billion), down 1.9 percent year on year, according to the figures released by the China Association of the National Shipbuilding Industry (CANSI).
