China's Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has stated at the press release that China’s total trade volume of goods with One Belt, One Road countries amounted to $389.1 billion in the January-April period this year, up 19.2 percent year on year. Meanwhile, in the given period, Chinese companies made new investments worth a total of $4.67 billion in the 46 countries of the One Belt, One Road area, rising by 17.3 percent year on year.
As of the end of April, China has built 75 overseas economic and trade cooperation zones in the One Belt, One Road area, with an overall investment of $25.5 billion, creating 220,000 jobs in the countries in question.
