Freight volumes on China’s railway increase by 5.5 percent in H1

In the January-June period this year, the overall freight volume transported on China’s railways amounted to 2.065 billion mt, increasing by 5.5 percent, while in the month of June alone the freight volume transported on China’s railways totaled 354 million mt, up 7.5 percent, both year on year, according to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC).
