China’s medium plate output up 11.1 percent in 2014

In December last year, China’s outputs of medium plate, heavy plate and ultra-heavy plate amounted to 3.192 million mt, 2.241 million mt and 0.642 million mt, up 17.3 percent, 9.1 percent and 39.9 percent year on year, respectively, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics.

In 2014, China’s outputs of medium plate, heavy plate and ultra-heavy plate totaled 40.009 million mt, 26.385 million mt and 7.270 million mt, up 11.1 percent, 7.9 percent and 8.9 percent year on year, respectively.
