China's GDP increases by 6.9 percent in January-September

China's gross domestic product (GDP) indicated a year-on-year increase of 6.9 percent to RMB 48.7774 trillion ($7.7 trillion) in the January-September period of the current year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) on October 19.
 
In the January-September period of the current year, China’s domestic primary, secondary and tertiary industries contributed RMB 3.9195 trillion ($0.62 trillion), RMB 19.7799 trillion ($3.11 trillion) and RMB 25.0779 trillion ($3.94 trillion) to the country’s GDP, rising by 3.8 percent, 6.0 percent and 8.4 percent respectively on year-on-year basis. In the third quarter of the current year, China’s GDP increased by 1.8 percent compared to the second quarter of the year.
