In August this year, China’s excavator sales are expected to amount to 12,600 units, down 30 percent year on year, as announced by China-based Construction Machinery and Equipment (CME).

In particular, in August, excavator sales in the Chinese domestic market will likely reach 5,300 units, down 42 percent year on year, while excavator sales to the export markets will likely total 7,300 units, down 19 percent year on year.

There was lack of confidence in real estate industry, resulting in slack demand from buyers, which negatively affected the excavator sales in August, while this situation will unlikely improve in the near future.
