China's excavator output up 14.7% in 2019, up 9.7% in Dec from Nov

In December last year, excavator output in China increased to 28,720 units, 2,540 units more than excavator output in November or up 9.7 percent month on month, while rising by 13.0 percent year on year, as announced by the China National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In 2019, excavator output in China amounted to 266,299 units, up 14.7 percent from 2018, 0.2 percentage points slower than the growth rate recorded in the January-November period of the year.

Major Chinese engineering machinery producer Zoomlion has announced that it expects to record a year-on-year rise of 112.89-122.78 percent in net profit for 2019. Market analysts have said the excavator industry in China will continue its stable growth in 2020 amid increasing demand from infrastructure construction.
