China’s coking coal imports down 34 percent in January-April

In April this year, China imported 4.54 million mt of coking coal, down 45.8 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

In the January-April period of the current year, China imported 16.57 million mt of coking coal, decreasing by 34.0 percent year on year.
