China’s coking coal imports decline by 28 percent in Q1

In March this year, China imported 4.02 million mt of coking coal, down 37.4 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. 

In the January-March period of the current year, China imported 12.05 million mt of coking coal, decreasing by 28.0 percent year on year.
