China’s coke output rises by 2.9 percent in 2025

In 2025, China’s metallurgical coke output amounted to 504.121 million mt, up 2.9 percent year on year, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). 

In the given year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 4.831782 billion mt, increasing by 1.2 percent year on year.

In December alone, China’s metallurgical coke and raw coal outputs totaled 42.743 million mt and 437.035 million mt, up 1.9 percent and down 1.0 percent year on year, respectively.
