China’s coal shipments by railway decline in November

China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has announced that in November of the current year coal shipments by Chinese railways amounted to 190 million mt, down 5.9 percent year on year, while in the January-November period shipments totaled 2.1 billion mt, remaining almost stable year on year.

In the first 11 months, the railway line from Datong, Shanxi Province to Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province transported 410 million mt of coal, up 1.4 percent, while the railway line from Houma, Shanxi to Yueshan, Henan transported 170 million mt of coal, up 0.4 percent, both year on year.
