China’s coal output up five percent in H1

In June this year, China’s raw coal output amounted to 308.353 million mt, increasing by 10.6 percent, while its metallurgical coke output totaled 38.163 million mt, down by 1.4 percent year on year, as announced by China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the January-June period of the current year, China’s raw coal production totaled 1.712632 billion mt, up 5.0 percent, while its metallurgical coke output amounted to 221.059 million mt, rising by 2.5 percent year on year.
