China’s coal imports increase by 66.8 percent in January-October

In the January-October period of the current year, China’s coal imports amounted to 383.64 million mt, increasing by 66.8 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities on November 7.

In October alone, China’s coal imports totaled 35.992 million mt, down 14.6 percent month on month, while rising by 44.41 percent compared to the same period last year.
