China’s coal imports decrease by 11.1 percent in January-June 2025

In the January-June period this year, China’s coal imports amounted to 221.702 million mt, down 11.1 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In June alone, China’s coal imports reached 33.037 million mt, down 8.3 percent month on month, while down 25.9 percent year on year.
