China National Coal Group’s coal output down 15.2 percent in 2016

China’s state-owned coal company China National Coal Group has announced that in December last year its coal output amounted to 6.63 million mt, down 15.9 percent, while its coal sales totaled 11.50 million mt, decreasing by 25 percent, both year on year.

In 2016, China National Coal Group’s coal output totaled 80.99 million mt, decreasing by 15.2 percent, while its coal sales amounted to 133.06 million mt, declining by 3.4 percent, both on year-on-year basis.
