Chile sets definitive AD duties for steel bar imports from China

The Chilean government has imposed definitive antidumping (AD) duties on steel bar imports from China for a period of one year effective from November 22, as announced by the country’s official gazette, Diario Oficial.

Accordingly, the antidumping duty stands at 8.2 percent for China-based Jiangying Xingcheng Special Steel, 9.8 percent for Dongbei Special Steel Group Beiman Special Steel Import and Export Co. Ltd and 22.9 percent for Baosteel Special Steel Shaoguan Co., Ltd and for all other exporters from China.

The products subject to the antidumping duty currently fall under the following Chilean HTS code 7228.3000.
