Chile initiates AD probe on wire rod imports from China

The Chilean price distortion commission, CNDP, has initiated an antidumping (AD) duty investigation regarding imports of wire rod from China upon a request made by Chilean steelmaker CAP Acero, according to a document filing published in the nation’s Diario Oficial, Chile’s official gazette. 
 
The products subject to AD investigation currently fall under Customs Tariff Statistics Position Numbers 7213.2000, 7213.9110, 7213.9120, 7213.9190, 7213.9900, 7227.1000, 7227.2000 and 7227.9000.
