Chengdu Steel targets operating revenue of RMB 11.5 billion in 2013

Sichuan Province-based Chinese steelmaker Chengdu Iron and Steel, a subsidiary of Pangang Group, has announced its production and operating targets for 2013.
 
Accordingly, Chengdu Steel expects to achieve an operating revenue of RMB 11.5 billion ($1.8 billion) in 2013. Furthermore, in the current year the company plans to produce 1.55 million mt of pig iron, 1.82 million mt of crude steel and 2.4 million mt of finished steel (including 1.2 million mt of steel pipe and 1.2 million mt of construction steel).
