Chengde Steel supplies quake-resistant rebar for nuclear power plant

Hebei-based Chinese steelmaker Chengde Iron and Steel, a subsidiary of Heibei Iron and Steel Group, has announced that it has completed production of 4,304 mt of earthquake-resistant rebar and has delivered the products to the Taishan nuclear power plant project in the southern Chinese province of Guangdong.

The shipment included HRB 500 rebar and HRB 500X1 rebar in coils.
