Brazilian distributors' steel sales are up in 2006
Brazil's steel distributors association, Inda, has disclosed that its members' steel sales rose 14 percent year on year to around 2.3 million tons in 2006. Inda represents about 90 percent of Brazil's entire steel distribution chain. The increase in 2006 has surpassed Inda's expectations. Members' steel sales had been expected to increase by just ten percent.
