BIR announces Alexandre Delacoux as its new director-general

The Bureau of International Recycling (BIR) has named Alexandre Delacoux as its new director-general as of September 1, replacing Francis Veys who is retiring from BIR. Delacoux joined BIR as general manager at the end of 2012.
 
BIR president Björn Grufman paid tribute to Francis Veys for his immense achievements and for leading BIR so successfully for almost four decades.
