The hearing to settle Nucor's appeal of Big River Steel's air permit has been tentatively set for March 28, 2014.  The $1 billion steel mill planned for Mississippi County, Arkansas has faced several roadblocks since the project was announced, specifically from Nucor, which has two steel plants in the same county.

The project's investors planned to begin construction next month, but even a positive ruling in the appeal means construction will be delayed.
