BHP settles iron ore prices with its customers

Australian mining giant BHP Billiton announced on Friday that it had reached an agreement with its Japanese, Korean and European steel customers regarding iron ore prices for 2006. The prices of lump and fines iron ore products supplied by BHP Billiton have been increased by 19 percent compared to prices in 2005.
