Benxi steel starts production of a new non grain-oriented silicon steel grade

Liaoning province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Steel Group announced that over 80,000 mt non grain-oriented silicon steel, such as 50BW600, 50BW800, 50BW1000 and 50BW1300 produced by Benxi Steel has been sold to over forty well known domestic home appliance companies. The non grain-oriented silicon steel production launched with continuous annealing line and rerolling unit put into operation in 2010.

At present, Benxi Steel can produce non grain-oriented silicon steel, such as 50BW600, 50BW800, 50BW1000 and 50BW1300. Furthermore, 50BW470 also has a successful test run and gets the approval to be produced in larger amounts.
