Bengang receives export orders totaling 340,000 mt in January

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel (Group) Co. (Bengang) received export orders amounting to 340,000 mt in January of the current year, up by 21 percent on year-on-year basis, despite the sluggishness observed in the iron and steel industry, as announced by China Metallurgical News.

With the help of its global marketing network, in 2012 Bengang received export orders totaling 4 million mt, up 48 percent year on year, with its earnings from exports reaching $2.3 billion.
