Belgo’s sales volume is expected to increase by 38.5%

Brazilian steel producer Belgo-Mineira's 2004 sales volume is expected to increase by 38.5% to 3.37 million tons as demand from overseas is strong. Moreover, thanks to the projects regarding capacity expansion, sales volume of the company is expected to increase by 5.6% each year for the next five years. With the expansion project, the annual production will reach 5.05 million tons. Analysts state that the company will also benefit from the expected growth in civil construction industry by the end of the year.
