Baosteel Structure (Jiangsu) Co. to start production at end of year

Chinese steel giant Baosteel Group has stated that hot run tests have been carried out at its subsidiary Baosteel Structure (Jiangsu) Co.'s steel structure project which has a designed annual output capacity of 150,000 mt. The project, which has cost a total investment of over RMB 1 billion ($0.16 billion), is expected to start production before the end of the current year.
 
Baosteel Structure (Jiangsu) Co. is located in Haimen Harbor Industrial & Trade District, Jiangsu Province. Its output will include tubular steel structures and box girder steel structures.
 
Upon commissioning of the steel structure project, Baosteel Structure (Jiangsu) Co. will relieve the production pressure on Baosteel Shanghai Construction Co.
