Baosteel produces B96LX extra-high strength steel cord

According to major Chinese steelmaker Baosteel, the company succeeded in producing B96LX extra-high strength steel cord on January 28. Inspections have revealed that the new product meets all quality requirements, and is in line with ISO16120 standard, grade 1.
 
Baosteel had previously carried out research and developed steel cord products such as B86LX and B92LX. Baosteel's new B96LX extra-high strength steel cord is an advanced product, with trial production of the product only having also been carried out by a few Japanese companies.
 
Baosteel is now the largest steel cord provider for Michelin tires in China, and is supplier to the world's biggest steel cord and wire producer Bekaert.
