On May 24, Chinese steelmaker Baosteel announced its ‘green manifesto', in which it issued relevant information concerning its manufacturing process in terms of development of energy efficiency and resource efficiency, and in which it also provided details of the environmental performance of its products and services and stated its commitment to accepting social supervision.
The company has posted the environmental performance of its hot rolled, cold rolled, hot dip galvanized, electro-galvanized and electro tinplate products.
In addition, Baosteel has stated that it will publish the environmental performance of its electrical steel, PPGI and other products in the future.
