Baogang’s finished steel sales revenue totals RMB 40.9 billion in 2011

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang Group) has announced that in 2011 its sales volume of finished steel totaled 5.2777 million mt, exceeding the targeted volume by 93,700 mt, with the finished steel sales revenue for the year reaching RMB 40.9 billion ($6.49 billion). The finished steel sales volume in 2011 included 1.3165 million mt of newly-developed products.

In January this year, Baogang produced 840,200 mt of pig iron, 877,500 mt of crude steel and 825,900 mt of finished steel.
