Bankrupt Romanian wire rod mill re-attempts to sell assets for €23 million

Romanian steel wire producer Dan Steel, situated in Beclean, has been in bankruptcy proceedings since the beginning of the year, however, so far been unable to find a buyer. As a result, the firm has chosen to demand a lower price throughout subsequent auction rounds.

According to asset liquidators CITR Cluj Branch and Prime Insolv Practice, new auction dates were set as July 7 and July 21, with a starting price of €23 million rather than €25.9 million in the previous auction.
