Bamesa may consider expansion plans in France

Recent reports from the industry reveals that Spain based service center group Barcelonesa de Metals SA (Bamesa), established in 1962, has always been willing to expand and contemplating to launch new service centers in France, although currently there is no fixed plans. But it is most likely that these expansion plans may start following the acquisition of 100% stake at the French service center Cofrafer from Arcelor. Upon the sale of Cofrafer, it is expected to increase Bamesa's annual sales of 1.2 million tonnes by 200'000 tonnes, likewise bringing the existing €600 million turnover up to €680 million.
