Average second-grade coke price in China up 4.5 percent in early Sept

In early September (September 1-10) this year, the average price in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,175.0/mt ($172.0/mt) and RMB 2,481.8/mt ($363.4/mt), increasing by RMB 25/mt and RMB 108/mt ($15.8/mt), up by 2.2 percent and 4.5 percent, both compared to prices in late August (August 21-31), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
