Average second-grade coke price in China down 4.8% in mid-November

In mid-November (November 11-20) this year, the average prices in China of coking coal and second-grade metallurgical coke were recorded at RMB 1,150.0/mt ($173.5/mt) and RMB 1,518.8/mt ($229.1/mt), declining by RMB 48.8/mt ($7.4/mt) and RMB 76.5/mt ($11.5/mt), down 4.1 percent and 4.8 percent compared to the prices in early November (November 1-10), respectively, as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on November 24.
