Avanco obtains drilling permission in Brazilian iron ore project

West Perth, Australia-based Avanco Resources Ltd. announced Thursday that the company has acquired permission for drilling at the Trindade North Iron Ore Project in Carajas, Brazil. Vale SA, the world's largest iron ore mining company, will be undertaking the drill program when rig mobilization initiates over the coming weeks.

Vale also has been granted exclusive exploration rights at the Trindade project, and has the right to exercise an option to acquire sole ownership of the property.
